A Collection Inspired by Nature
Colombia is a land of contrasts: snow-capped mountains, tropical forests, endless rivers, and the largest páramo ecosystem on earth. Within this diversity, coffee grows in harmony with nature and culture, carrying the essence of its origin into every cup.
For our launch, we wanted to create a collection that does more than offer great coffee — it tells stories of protected places and resilient people. That’s why each of our first three coffees is inspired by a Colombian national park or indigenous community. Together, they represent not just flavors, but the richness of Colombia’s landscapes and traditions.
Sumapaz – Balance in the Páramo
The first coffee in our collection comes from the highlands of Arbeláez, Cundinamarca, at 1,650 meters above sea level, on the edge of the Sumapaz National Park. This park is the world’s largest páramo, a fragile high-altitude ecosystem that regulates water and sustains biodiversity.
Just like its origin, Sumapaz coffee is all about balance. With notes of almond, vanilla, and dried fruits, it delivers a smooth body and gentle acidity. Its washed process brings clarity to the cup, making it versatile for espresso, pour-over, or moka pot.
Sumapaz is a tribute to harmony — a coffee that adapts to your taste and moment, while reminding you of the ecosystems that give life to Colombia.
Inga de Aponte – Ancestral Sweetness
Traveling south to the mountains of Nariño, we find the Inga indigenous community of Aponte. Guardians of ancestral land and traditions, the Inga cultivate coffee at altitudes above 2,000 meters, where cool air and fertile volcanic soil shape extraordinary beans.
This coffee shines with chocolate, floral, and honey notes, a reflection of both terroir and tradition. Produced with the honey process, it carries a natural sweetness and a medium body that lingers on the palate.
Inga de Aponte is more than coffee — it’s a story of resilience, cultural heritage, and harmony with the earth. Each sip connects you to the wisdom of a community that has preserved both land and identity through generations.
Las Hermosas – Expressive and Fruity
Our third coffee takes us to Tolima, where the Las Hermosas Natural Reserve protects rivers, peaks, and forests brimming with biodiversity. Coffee here grows in volcanic soils under varied microclimates, resulting in beans full of energy and expression.
Las Hermosas bursts with cherry, peach, and caramel notes, carried by a light-medium roast that enhances fruitiness without losing balance. With its natural process, this coffee is bold, aromatic, and layered — a cup that reflects the vitality of Colombia’s ecosystems.
Las Hermosas is for those who love expressive coffees, vibrant and alive, like the landscapes that inspire it.
Diversity as a Philosophy
Together, Sumapaz, Inga, and Las Hermosas form a collection that reflects the philosophy of Tinto Coffee: diversity, quality, and sustainability.
Three regions, three stories: páramo, indigenous land, and natural reserve.
Three processes: washed, honey, and natural — showcasing the spectrum of Colombian coffee.
One purpose: to connect you with the richness of Colombia while supporting farmers and protecting ecosystems.
We believe diversity is not just about flavors — it’s about perspectives, communities, and ways of life. This collection is our way of showing how coffee can be a bridge between worlds.
